Modern science has a lot of good things for people, but it is also had negative consequences such that the spiritual being within the physical being has lost central focus.

On the other hand, Hindu thinking has kept spiritual healing alive in spite of science and technology's growth.

Our bodies are comprised of seven primary and thousands of secondary Chakras. Chakra, a Sanskrit word which translates to "wheel of light" is used to denote these energy centers within the human body; which are believed to continuously rotate and vibrate, at least in the case of a healthy person.

Chakras are called Entrance Gates of the Aura which includes and presents life-force energy through central points. Why do the chakras become distorted?

There can be a blockage in one or more of the Chakras causing energy to flow improperly resulting in an imbalance ultimately causing problems that manifest in the physical world.

When the Chakras are functioning harmoniously, there can be a number of reasons why they distort: ill health, unhealthy eating patterns, stress, toxicity exposure, lack of exercise, shutdown of emotion and expression, a breakdown between perceived truths and what is taking place, traumas from childhood, emotional injuries, and cultural conditions.

Chakra balancing is the Real Key to Better Health and Happiness

While the ideal is for all Chakras to function completely and stay in balance with each other, this is not always the way things pan out in reality. People have always put effort into correcting distortion and placing their Chakras into a harmonious balance. Self-healing is in fact based, at least in part on Chakra balancing.

The state that our Chakras are in makes a big difference to the state of our physical, mental and spiritual health. Our very body shape, our endocrine system, the presence or absence of chronic illnesses, out thought patterns and our behaviors are all influenced by our Chakras. Using these techniques and bringing our Chakras into balance makes our bodies act as depositories for energy which we take in and give out on a steady basis.

Our organs dispose of the excess and are replenished by new supplies that allow us to act and live in harmony with the universe. As a result, we attain an optimized state where inner peace and health are the norm.

Attaining the Chakra balance may seem Utopian, but the journey towards its realization allows us to live better and with a natural vibrational state that is beneficial long term.
