Chakra – what you need to know

You may be unsure of what a Chakra exactly is. A chakra is a point on the human body that communicates and connects to the energy of life force. The word itself has a definition that comes from a Sanskrit word which means a constantly spinning wheel or sphere of someone's aural energy. Traditional Hindu writings have often said that there are over 85,000 points of Chakra throughout every human body, but there are truly only seven extrmely important points of Chakra. These seven vital points of Chakrah can be found from the bottom of the spinal cord all the way up to the top of the head.

The seven main chakra?s are as follows; solar plexus/stomach chakra, heart chakra, third eye/brow chakra, crown chakra, naval/sex chakra, base or root chakra and the throat chakra. What these major chakra?s do, is they take energy from a persons surroundings and help to transmit these energies to a person?s body. It is said that they can directly impact the activities of a person in such areas as: psychological, emotional, spiritual or mystical, and even corporeal.

Throughout history Chakras have been described several different ways, but most of these ways have one common characteristic. The Chinese medicinal description and even the Hindu interpretation have things in common. Chakra is the understanding of the way that the human mind thinks and the ways in which humans express and experience emotions in everyday life.

It is said that since the chakras never stop moving, no matter whether a person is sleeping or if they are up moving around, they can greatly help our body as they stay in constant motion. They can help such things as physical disorders, glandular processes as well as the appearance and structure of our body. They can even influence the way we act and how we think. It is easy to see if one of the chakras are not working correctly, then we can have problems with the way our body is balanced and how it functions. The chakras can malfunction for many reasons but if one or more are not working right, we can have issues with the rest of our body.

This happens because each endocrine gland in our body is linked to one of the seven major chakras. If there is an imbalance of a chakra then it will effect a physical and emotional process that creates a disturbance in the behavior of the endocrine gland that it is specifically linked to.

You can pretty much bet on that what ever ailments or conditions that you have, are related to the balance of the chakras in your body. It is very important for you too try to keep all of the chakras in balance. Some people do not see any physical; symptoms but they can see a change in their emotions.

This can be from a traumatic event that happened to them in their past. Most people are not aware of the most all toxins that can build up their body when their subconscious mind hold on to network for memories. This is a common habit among most all people, to repress memories is natural. It is very important for a person to learn how to deal with their emotional baggage or repressed memories so that they can balance out there chakra?s. This will let their body heal and get everything aligned.

You must realize that Chakra healing is extremely good for your body and that you can also directly influence each and every one of your Chakras. You can do this by employing techniques such as Reiki healing, color therapy, aromatherapy, chakra balancing with the aid of a pendulum, crystals or gemstones.

Many people like to attend several yoga exercise classes that teach breathing and physical exercises to maintain chakra balance within their bodies.

If yoga is not your things then you can try such things as meditation or even guided visualization where you learn to put your mind elsewhere by listening to audio tapes or CD?s. These methods are also known as natural healing techniques.

Although we cannot see or feel our chakras, they work alone to help sustain our bodies in several ways.

The human body has to be healthy and fed properly in order for us to have balanced chakras. There are foods that help maintain the balance of each of the seven primary chakras.

Did you know that root vegetables that are high in protein help nourish the root chakra? Also, the creative as well as sexual chakra desires sweet fruits, nuts, and vanilla to function properly and help us feel good. The stomach or solar plexus chakra is responsible for making us feel good about ourselves and loves having breads and even minty spices with dairy products.

The heart chakra thrives on our intake of green leafy vegetables and green tea. Our throat chakra needs lots of liquid like water and fruit juices and tangy fruits including apples and peaches.

Eating blueberries along with wines and grape juice are responsible for keeping our third eye chakra hydrated. The third eye is extremely important because it is entirely responsible for making our senses and physical abilities much sharper.

The center of our emotional being is called the crown chakra which needs to be detoxified. This is generally done through fasting. Some people prefer to do a ritual inhalation which can be done through the use of natural herbs as well as incense.

We can take care of our overall health and by using some of that influences above are chakras. You?ll notice that you?ll have better health overall. You also see that your body is more in tune with things that are around you and that would be both in the physical and metaphysical sense.
