All about Chakra

Chances are that you have heard the word chakra but you may be unclear as to what it is. This is actually the axis point in a person?s body that can communicate life force energy. The word chakra is actually a Sanskrit word. The definition of this word is that of a constant spinning wheel. It is said and fit into traditional Hindu writings and, there is listed more than 88,000 chakra points on a person?s entire body. Out of all of these chakra?s, there are actually seven major energy acts as chakra?s which will run from a persons had all the way to the base of their spine.

The thousands of chakras fall into these 7 major points which consist of: the stomach or solar plexus chakra, the 3rd eye or brow chakra, the heart chakra, sex or navel chakra, the throat chakra, the base chakra and the crown chakra. All of these areas take the energy for your surrounding and transfer it to your body. Some people have said that they can notice a difference in such things as their emotional state as well as psychological aspects and they are stimulated both intellectually and spiritually.

There are many explanations about Chakras but there is one main definition that is tied in with all of the explanations. It is not known if it comes form the point of view from Chinese medicine, an individuals point of view, the study of psychology?s take on it all, where the conscious and unconscious though process is concerned or the Hindus mystical explanation.

Studies have shown that chakra?s stay in constant movement the matter whether person is sweeping or steer a week. Because of the constant movement it helps to influence such things on a person like: physical disorders, they are body is structured, or appearance, glandular processes, the way we conduct ourselves and the way we think. It is safe to say that if just one of our chakra?s is not working properly, we can suffer with an imbalance that can affect our whole body.

The reason behind this is that each major chakra is associated with a specific endocrine gland within our body. An imbalance of any charkra affects the physical and emotional processes that exist within our bodies. Any type of disruption of the chakra can be linked through the endocrine gland it is associated with.

It is extremely important to attempt to maintain Chakra balance by using the above as a starting part. It is important that you realize all major illnesses are related to one of the seven main chakras. There may not be physical evidence yet of the illness, but emotions or worries from past events in our lives may still effect us today emotionally as well as spiritually.

Of the main reasons a person may see an imbalance in their chakra, is emotional baggage that they have held on to since childhood. This can be from a traumatic event that happened to them in their past. Most people are not aware of the most all toxins that can build up their body when their subconscious mind hold on to network for memories. This is a common habit among most all people, to repress memories is natural. It is very important for a person to learn how to deal with their emotional baggage or repressed memories so that they can balance out there chakra?s. This will let their body heal and get everything aligned.

It is important to keep a healthy chakra so that you body can function as it should and you can do this by doing such techniques as aromatherapy, chakra balancing by use of gemstones, crystals or a pendulum, Reiki healing or color therapy.

Many people like to attend several yoga exercise classes that teach breathing and physical exercises to maintain chakra balance within their bodies.

Some of the other methods used to heal a chakra are meditation which will help a person to keep their mind. Other methodologies of chakra healing are meditation (keeping the mind focused on an object of thought or awareness for a certain period of time), guided visualization (done with the aid of audio tapes or CDs to promote natural healing and relaxation techniques to reduce stress, promote relaxation and harness the power of the mind).

Even though you can not see or touch a chakra, they still work independently to keep our body in check.

The human body has to be healthy and fed properly in order for us to have balanced chakras. There are foods that help maintain the balance of each of the seven primary chakras.

Also, the creative as well as sexual chakra desires sweet fruits, nuts, and vanilla to function properly and help us feel good. The stomach or solar plexus chakra is responsible for making us feel good about ourselves and loves having breads and even minty spices with dairy products.

Did you know that the heart chakra works the best on leafy vegetables and even many types of green tea? Also, the chakra of the throat needs lots of liquids to stay hydrated. The best liquids are water and even fruit juices such as apple and orange juice.

The crown chakra is the center of our emotion and spiritual needs. It is extremely important that you take care of the crown chakra by detoxifying through fasting and using herbs.
