All about Chakra
Most people are not away that they have a life force energy that is actually run by something that is called a chakra. The chakra is believed to be an axis point on a persons being that interacts with their chakra. The term chakra comes is a Sanskrit term and it means a constantly spinning wheel or a mans aural energy. Each person has what is called, life force energy, and this is run by their chakra. The Hindu writings show that there are more than 88,000 different chakra points in a persons body but they are all focused into 7 main areas or energy axis?. All of the 7 areas go from the base of a persons spine all the way to their head.
The seven main chakra?s are as follows; solar plexus/stomach chakra, heart chakra, third eye/brow chakra, crown chakra, naval/sex chakra, base or root chakra and the throat chakra. What these major chakra?s do, is they take energy from a persons surroundings and help to transmit these energies to a person?s body. It is said that they can directly impact the activities of a person in such areas as: psychological, emotional, spiritual or mystical, and even corporeal.
There is one common characteristic that all of the descriptions of Chakras share. This common characteristic is that it is the mystical and spiritual understanding of a person's experiences or the modern understanding of the human thought process. This is what the Hindus think Chakras truly are.
This happens specifically because each one of the major chakra glands works with a specific endocrine gland within our bodies. If there is an imbalance in the function of a chakra this will effect our physical and emotional state of well being. It will also create a disturbance in the endocrine gland that is associated with that specific chakra.
This is due to the seven major chakra?s being connected to the in endocrine gland that is found in our bodies. Even the smallest imbalance of can take it?s toll on our emotional state as well as our physical state. When an imbalance occurs it can create a disturbance in the way a person behaves and that is directly linked up to the endocrine gland.
It is important to make sure that you keep a good balance and with your chakra?s keeping in mind what is listed above. You can use that as your starting point of. Many people believe that a great deal of major illnesses as well as ailments, are related to a person?s Chakra. Even though a person may not show physical manifestations of an illness right away, they may notice a change in their emotions. Things from a person?s childhood can stick with them and affect them in such ways as spiritual, physically and even emotionally as they get older.
There may be repressed memories or forgotten emotional baggage which comes form past traumatic experiences that can cause the chakras to be out of balance. We may actually be unaware of this, but the negative, emotional toxins have an effect at the cellular level. It is because of this that the need to resolve them is critical to attain proper chakra balance and to heal our physical self in the process.
There are certain things that are Good for our Body and promote Chakra Healing such as Reiki, aromatherapy, balancing of the chakras, color therapy and balancing with things like crystals, pendulums or gemstones.
Some people swear by doing yoga exercises to help with their physical being as well as their breathing. You can also try to visit the exercises which can help to balance their chakra.
Some other methods of Chakra healing include meditation. Meditation is the process of keeping the mind focused and visualizing certain things to relax. Often at times CDs can help promote the natural healing process through relaxing music and can harness the power of the mind to relax.
Although we cannot see or feel our chakras, they work alone to help sustain our bodies in several ways.
The human body has to be healthy and fed properly in order for us to have balanced chakras. There are foods that help maintain the balance of each of the seven primary chakras.
Root-type vegetables, protein-rich foods and spices nourish our root chakra. The sexual and creativity (sacral) chakra needs sweet fruits, nuts and cinnamon, vanilla, sesame and caraway seeds; the stomach/solar plexus chakra which is responsible for enhancing our self-confidence and self-love are can be nourished by eating breads, pastas, cereal, dairy products, yogurt and minty spices.
The chakra of the heart functions the best when eating leafy vegetables like cabbage and also drinking green tea. The throat chakra desires that you drink lots of water and juices like apple juice, grape juice, and even orange juice!
