You may be unsure of what a Chakra exactly is. A chakra is a point on the human body that communicates and connects to the energy of life force. The word itself has a definition that comes from a Sanskrit word which means a constantly spinning wheel or sphere of someone’s aural energy.
Hindu text tells us that there are over 88,000 chakra points in each of our bodies. The most vital of these chakra points are those which run along the spinal column up to the crown of the head. These are the seven chakra points.
These seven main chakra points are known as the root or base chakra, the sacral chakra, the solar plexus chakra, the heart chakra, the throat chakra, the third eye chakra and the crown chakra. These seven main chakras receive and transmit energy from the universe, as well as from other people. These influence all of the activities of the individuals, spiritual, emotional and physical.
Throughout history Chakras have been described several different ways, but most of these ways have one common characteristic. The Chinese medicinal description and even the Hindu interpretation have things in common. Chakra is the understanding of the way that the human mind thinks and the ways in which humans express and experience emotions in everyday life.
One important thing to realize is that Chakras are constantly in motion even if you are asleep because they constantly affect your body. The ways that Chakrah can effect your body include the glandular process, physical disorders, and even our thoughts and appearance. Therefore, if one of the seven Chakras are harmed then it will affect our body in a negative way and can affect our well being.
Many believe that this all happens because the chakras are part of the endocrine glad that is located inside your body. If you do not keep your chakras in balance then you will get what is known as a disturbance in this glad which will affect everything that is attached to it.
Maintaining the Balance of Chakra Using the above as our point of beginning, we can assume safely that the majority of our ailments and illnesses are related to our chakras. The human body requires chakra healing. By utilization of several techniques like therapy, aromatherapy, Reiki healing or using crystals, gemstones or a pendulum can affect chakras effectively.

The body needs nutrition in order for there to be balance of the chakras and the pleasure of good health. There are particular foods that aid in maintaining the balance of each of the seven chakras.
The root chakra is nourished with food rich in protein, spices and root type vegetables. Nuts, vanilla, cinnamon, sweet fruits and seeds such as caraway and sesame nourishes the sacral chakra that stands for our sexual being and creativity. Breads, cereals, pasta, yogurt, dairy products and spicy mints nourish our stomach or solar plexus chakra which increases our confidence, love and esteem for self.
Take care of your heart chakra with green leafy vegetables. You can also go with a green tea which can help flush things out. For your throat chakra, you’ll need to push fluids. Fruit juices and water are very good for this, especially juices that have apples or peaches.
The brow or third eye chakra which enhances our sharpness of third eye sight and an in-depth sense of our own psychical gifts is nourished by consuming grapes, blueberries, grape juice and wine.
