The energy whirls or energy points in the human body which receives, regulates and transmits the energy flow of it are known as the chakras. Chakra is a Sanskrit word which means a spinning wheel or a circle.

Believe it or not, it is said that in the Hindu writing, you can find much more then 88,000 chakra points in your body but all of those points break down into a total of 7 main energy axis which go from the top of your head all the way to the base of your spine.

The seven main chakra’s are as follows; solar plexus/stomach chakra, heart chakra, third eye/brow chakra, crown chakra, naval/sex chakra, base or root chakra and the throat chakra. What these major chakra’s do, is they take energy from a persons surroundings and help to transmit these energies to a person’s body. It is said that they can directly impact the activities of a person in such areas as: psychological, emotional, spiritual or mystical, and even corporeal.

Chakras have been described in several different ways, but all of these descriptions have one common characteristic. Whether it be from the Chinese medicinal point of view or the Hindu point of view these descriptions are all similar. It is the understanding of the experiences of people and the way that the human mind thinks and goes through different emotions.

One important thing to realize is that Chakras are constantly in motion even if you are asleep because they constantly affect your body. The ways that Chakrah can effect your body include the glandular process, physical disorders, and even our thoughts and appearance. Therefore, if one of the seven Chakras are harmed then it will affect our body in a negative way and can affect our well being.

This is due to the result of the association of these seven major chakras with the endocrine system of our body. If there is any imbalance in the system with the functioning of chakras, it affects the emotional and physical processes and shows up in the normal system as certain disorders or malfunctioning of certain organs associated with the corresponding endocrine gland.

Maintaining the Balance of Chakra Using the above as our point of beginning, we can assume safely that the majority of our ailments and illnesses are related to our chakras. Even though there may not be enough materialization of imbalance or illness, there may yet be concerns or emotions that come from our childhood that influence us spiritually, emotionally and physically.

One of the biggest causes of chakra imbalance from the regular life cycle is the emotional baggage or yoke that we carry along with us. Many of us bury our grief inside themselves not realising that the emotional toxins will influence the body on a cellular level.

Thus it is very essential to deal with the emotional baggages at once and delete them from your sub conscious.

Although we cannot see or feel our chakras, they work alone to help sustain our bodies in several ways.

For there to be chakra balance the body must be nourished in order to enjoy optimal health. The seven major chakras benefit from specific foods that help to maintain balance.

If you want to care for your root chakra then stick with Root-type vegetables. You can also go with protein-rich foods to help your chakra get the most nutrition. Your solar plexus chakra thrives on starches such as cereal, breads and even pastas. You can also do dairy products and yogurts for this type of Chakra. You will want to feed and your sexual chakra sweet fruits, vanilla and some cinnamon or nuts.

Take care of your heart chakra with green leafy vegetables. You can also go with a green tea which can help flush things out. For your throat chakra, you’ll need to push fluids. Fruit juices and water are very good for this, especially juices that have apples or peaches.

Your third eye was such things as a grape juice, blueberries Grapes and even wine. This will help to make your eyes senses much more sharper and in sync.

The crown chakra, which is our spiritual and emotional center will benefit from being detoxified. This is achieved by fasting and the ritual inhalation of various herbs and incense.
