Most people are not away that they have a life force energy that is actually run by something that is called a chakra. The chakra is believed to be an axis point on a persons being that interacts with their chakra. The term chakra comes is a Sanskrit term and it means a constantly spinning wheel or a mans aural energy. Each person has what is called, life force energy, and this is run by their chakra.
Many traditional Hindu writings suggest that there are nearly 90,000 points of Chakra throughout a person’s body. Although, there are seven Chakras that are more important than all of the rest. These Chakras exist from the bottom of the spine all the way up to the top of the head.
The root or base chakra, the sex or navel chakra, the stomach or solar plexus chakra, the heart chakra, the throat chakra, the brow or third eye chakra and the crown chakra are the seven major chakras of the body. These main chakra points of the body can receive and transmit energy to and from its universal surroundings including various elements and the individuals around it. They are able to influence the spiritual, mystical, emotional, intellectual, corporeal and psychological activities of an individual all by themselves.
Whether one chooses the viewpoint of Hindu mythological thoughts for an individual’s internal and external experience, or Chinese medicines, or even the modern explanation through psychology of human thought processes and consciousness, the chakras form the distinct and valuable thread in all explanations.
Whether we realise it or not, the chakras and the energy flow through them are in constant motion. This constant motion influences the structure, appearance, physical disorders, glandular processes as well as our thoughts and deeds. However, in between if there occurs a malfunction or certain disruption in this motion, then there can be several imbalances in life which will manifest itself in other known areas of our being.
This is due to the seven major chakra’s being connected to the in endocrine gland that is found in our bodies. Even the smallest imbalance of can take it’s toll on our emotional state as well as our physical state. When an imbalance occurs it can create a disturbance in the way a person behaves and that is directly linked up to the endocrine gland.
Now maintaining equilibrium with the chakras by utilising the above mentioned points in the introduction, we can confidently assume that the majority of the ailments or illnesses are related to chakra imbalance. Even though there may not be enough materialization of imbalance for illnesses, there may be certain concerns or emotions that influence us from our childhood, spiritually, emotionally and physically.
One of the major causes of chakra imbalance is associated with repressed emotional baggage that develops from past trauma. These habitually buried emotional toxins of the subconscious influence the cellular level of our body.
Thus it is extremely essential to deal with these emotional burdens as these are the most common factors that usually imbalances the proper functioning of chakras.
Healing the Body Chakras Activities such as Reiki, color therapy, aromatherapy provides balance by using the healing properties of crystals, gemstones and pendulums.
Many people like to attend several yoga exercise classes that teach breathing and physical exercises to maintain chakra balance within their bodies.
Some other ways to heal chakras include meditation as well as guided visualization. Many times people like to do this through the aid of relaxing music CDs which help to promote natural healing through relaxation techniques. This is helpful in reducing stress and harnessing the power of our mind.
Chakras work without any help, though it cannot be felt with our touch or cannot be seen with our eyes.
In order to maintain balance, you need to eat right and stay healthy. There are even certain foods that will help with all seven chakras.
Did you know that root vegetables that are high in protein help nourish the root chakra? Also, the creative as well as sexual chakra desires sweet fruits, nuts, and vanilla to function properly and help us feel good. The stomach or solar plexus chakra is responsible for making us feel good about ourselves and loves having breads and even minty spices with dairy products.
Take care of your heart chakra with green leafy vegetables. You can also go with a green tea which can help flush things out. For your throat chakra, you’ll need to push fluids. Fruit juices and water are very good for this, especially juices that have apples or peaches.
The brow or third eye chakra which enhances our sharpness of third eye sight and an in-depth sense of our own psychical gifts is nourished by consuming grapes, blueberries, grape juice and wine.
The crown chakra is the highest chakra – the chakra of spirituality is all about detoxification. Hence, traditional inhalation of herbs and incense and activities such as fasting works best towards that.
We can take care of our overall health and by using some of that influences above are chakras. You’ll notice that you’ll have better health overall. You also see that your body is more in tune with things that are around you and that would be both in the physical and metaphysical sense.
