The orientation of the body to receive, correlate and express the life forces of energy is called the chakra system. It is a word derived from Sanskrit terminology which means the aural energy sphere of a human or a continual spinning of a wheel.
Traditionally Hindu scripts believe that there are 88,000 chakra points in the human body. But out of these, seven chakras form the vital points for the flow of chi along the spinal column to the crown of the head.
The first one at the base of the spinal column is the root chakra, moving upwards we have the sex or navel chakra, the stomach or solar plexus chakra, the heart chakra, the throat chakra, the brow or third eye chakra and the crown chakra constituting the seven major chakras of the body. These major chakras focus on receiving and transmitting energy to and fro the cosmos or the universe influencing the spiritual, mystical, emotional, intellectual, corporeal and psychological activities of an individual.
Whether you choose a viewpoint of the Hindus mystical understanding of an individual’s internal and external experience, Chinese medicine or the explanation of modern psychology of human thought processes and consciousness, however the chakras are distinct yet they all have a common thread that runs with them all concerning their explanations or definitions.
Studies have shown that chakra’s stay in constant movement the matter whether person is sweeping or steer a week. Because of the constant movement it helps to influence such things on a person like: physical disorders, they are body is structured, or appearance, glandular processes, the way we conduct ourselves and the way we think. It is safe to say that if just one of our chakra’s is not working properly, we can suffer with an imbalance that can affect our whole body.
All this is due to the association of the seven major chakras with the corresponding endocrine system of our body. When there is certain imbalance in the normal functioning of the systems or the chakras, it influences the physical and emotional functioning and shows up in the form of disorders in the normal pattern or behaviour of the associated endocrine gland system.
You can pretty much bet on that what ever ailments or conditions that you have, are related to the balance of the chakras in your body. It is very important for you too try to keep all of the chakras in balance. Some people do not see any physical; symptoms but they can see a change in their emotions.
It is said that one of the biggest factors in an unbalanced chakra is emotional baggage from the past. Many times people repress the emotional baggage that they got from dramatic experience, such as something from their childhood. This unfortunately is a bad habit that that many people have when it comes to bad memories in their subconscious mind. Most people are not aware that they are burying these things and that will affect their chakra in the end.
Bad emotions release toxins all the way down to the cellular level. This is why it is important to eliminate bad emotions and being healing yourself with chakra.
Thus, the human body deserves chakra healing therapies. It can use various techniques such as colour therapy, aromatherapy, Reiki healing, etc and can use objects such as crystals, gemstones or a pendulum for opening up or balancing the chakras
Many people like to attend several yoga exercise classes that teach breathing and physical exercises to maintain chakra balance within their bodies.
Some other ways that we can heal our Chakras include mediation as well as guided visualization. These techniques can help to reduce stress and harness the power of the mind.
It is a fact that we cannot touch or see our chakras, but they are always working to help sustain the human body.
The human body has to be healthy and fed properly in order for us to have balanced chakras. There are foods that help maintain the balance of each of the seven primary chakras.
The root chakra is nourished with food rich in protein, spices and root type vegetables. Nuts, vanilla, cinnamon, sweet fruits and seeds such as caraway and sesame nourishes the sacral chakra that stands for our sexual being and creativity. Breads, cereals, pasta, yogurt, dairy products and spicy mints nourish our stomach or solar plexus chakra which increases our confidence, love and esteem for self.
The chakra of the heart functions the best when eating leafy vegetables like cabbage and also drinking green tea. The throat chakra desires that you drink lots of water and juices like apple juice, grape juice, and even orange juice!
The third eye chakra which is responsible for the sharpness of third eye sight and a profound sense of the psychical gifts we all have is nourished by consuming such items as grapes, blueberries, grape juice and wine.
Our focal point of the spiritual awakening is the crown of the head which requires a good detoxification. This is done by regular inhalation of herbs and incense and rituals such as fasting.
By positively influencing our chakras we can increase our general health and well being. By doing this this leads to a better life where you are more in touch with your surroundings and other elements of the metaphysical world which we live in.
