The orientation of the body to receive, correlate and express the life forces of energy is called the chakra system. It is a word derived from Sanskrit terminology which means the aural energy sphere of a human or a continual spinning of a wheel.

Traditional Hindu text maintains that there are more than 88,000 chakra points in the human body. However, the most essential of these various chakras are the seven chakra points that run along the spinal column to the crown of the head.

The seven chakras are the root, navel and solar plexus chakras, the heart, throat, and brow and crown chakras. The receiving and transmitting of energy from the surroundings, the individuals involved and other essential surrounding elements involves these chakra points. The mystical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, corporeal and psychological issues of an individual are influenced by the activity of the chakras.

Chakras have been described in several different ways, but all of these descriptions have one common characteristic. Whether it be from the Chinese medicinal point of view or the Hindu point of view these descriptions are all similar. It is the understanding of the experiences of people and the way that the human mind thinks and goes through different emotions.

It is said that since the chakras never stop moving, no matter whether a person is sleeping or if they are up moving around, they can greatly help our body as they stay in constant motion. They can help such things as physical disorders, glandular processes as well as the appearance and structure of our body. They can even influence the way we act and how we think. It is easy to see if one of the chakras are not working correctly, then we can have problems with the way our body is balanced and how it functions. The chakras can malfunction for many reasons but if one or more are not working right, we can have issues with the rest of our body.

Each of the seven chakras associates with a specific endocrine gland of our body. Imbalance to the proper functioning of a chakra it will impact the emotional and physical processes of the body. Eventually, it will expose itself as a disorder of some type in the normal patterns of activity and or behavior in the associated endocrine gland.

Many people do not realize that Chakra healing is extremely beneficial for our bodies and that we can directly control our Chakras. You can positively influence your Chakras by employing techniques such as Reiki healing, aromatherapy, chakra balancing with the aid of a pendulum, crystals or gemstones.

One of the major causes of chakra imbalance is associated with repressed emotional baggage that develops from past trauma. These habitually buried emotional toxins of the subconscious influence the cellular level of our body.

Thus it is essential to remove the emotional baggage from our minds in order to properly balance the chakras.

Our Body deserves Charka Healing. By making use of such techniques as color therapy, aromatherapy, Reiki healing and balancing the chakras while using crystals, gemstones or a pendulum we can influence our chakras directly.

The performances of yoga breathing and physical exercises are beneficial to maintaining chakra balance within the body and it is something that many individuals enjoy participating in.

If yoga is not your things then you can try such things as meditation or even guided visualization where you learn to put your mind elsewhere by listening to audio tapes or CDs. These methods are also known as natural healing techniques.

Even though you can not see or touch a chakra, they still work independently to keep our body in check.

It is a fact that our bodies must be fed the proper foods in order to maintain our chakras. There are specific foods that are beneficial to major chakras.

The root chakra works best with foods rich in protein, spices and root type vegetables. For the sacral chakra, nuts, vanilla, cinnamon, sweet fruits and seeds such as caraway and sesame are the best which enriches creativity. Breads, cereals, pasta, yogurt, dairy products and spicy mints nourish our stomach or solar plexus chakra enriching our sense of self esteem and self confidence.

Did you know that the heart chakra functions the best when you eat leafy vegetables such as cabbage and also functions great when you drink large quantities of green tea? The chakra of the throat needs to stay hydrated. Therefore, you must drink a lot of water and fruit juices like apple juice.

Eating blueberries along with wines and grape juice are responsible for keeping our third eye chakra hydrated. The third eye is extremely important because it is entirely responsible for making our senses and physical abilities much sharper.

Detoxifying the body is beneficial to the crown chakra which is our emotional and spiritual center. This is done by the ritual inhalation of incense and herbs and by fasting.

We can influence our health when we influence or stimulate our chakras. Doing so inspires us to be more responsive in our lives as we become completely in tune with our general surrounding as well as all the other elements of the physical and metaphysical environment we live in.
