The energy point in the human body for receiving and transmitting the life force of energy is called a chakra. It is a word derived from Sanskrit which means the sphere or a spinning wheel. In this case it refers to the energy whirls in a human body.

Traditional Hindu writings have often said that there are nearly 90,000 points of Chakra throughout every human body, but there are truly only seven extrmely important points of Chakra. These seven vital points of Chakra can be found from the bottom of the spinal cord all the way up to the top of the head.

The seven main points of Chakra include the crown chakra, the eye chakra, the throat chakra, the heart chakra, the stomach chakra, the navel chakra, as well as the base chakra. The main idea here is that these seven points take in the energy from the people around us as well as the environment around us. They transmit energies into the surroundings and also take in energy from the surroundings. So, these points all influence what we do everyday in terms of emotions, mental thinking, and spiritual activities.

There are many explanations about Chakras but there is one main definition that is tied in with all of the explanations. It is not known if it comes form the point of view from Chinese medicine, an individuals point of view, the study of psychologys take on it all, where the conscious and unconscious though process is concerned or the Hindus mystical explanation.

This happens specifically because each one of the major chakra glands works with a specific endocrine gland within our bodies. If there is an imbalance in the function of a chakra this will effect our physical and emotional state of well being. It will also create a disturbance in the endocrine gland that is associated with that specific chakra.

This is due to the result of the association of these seven major chakras with the endocrine system of our body. If there is any imbalance in the system with the functioning of chakras, it affects the emotional and physical processes and shows up in the normal system as certain disorders or malfunctioning of certain organs associated with the corresponding endocrine gland.

Maintaining Chakra Balance By understanding the point above as a point of beginning, our chakras associate with any type of illness or disease that you may experience. Of course, the appearance of an imbalance or ailment may not be recognizable, although there may be emotional issues that resurface from out childhood which can influence the physical, spiritual and emotional senses.

One of the major reasons for chakra imbalance is depression or the subconscious load of the emotional baggage that we carry along with our life due to certain traumatic experiences we have faced in our past. Many individuals dig them deep inside their subconscious minds, unaware that it increases the emotional toxins influencing their body on a cellular level.

This is something that many people do without being aware of it as these issues can be stored in their subconscious mind. If they leave these issues alone to fester they can get a build up of emotional toxins which can be harmful.

Our Body deserves Charka Healing. By making use of such techniques as color therapy, aromatherapy, Reiki healing and balancing the chakras while using crystals, gemstones or a pendulum we can influence our chakras directly.

There are many of people that get much relief from doing yoga as it will help them to breathe better. Yoga can help a person focus they attention somewhere else so that they can balance their chakra much easier.

Other methods include healing through utilization of meditation classes, for a specific period of time, through visualization with the aid of CD or audio tapes for encouraging relaxation techniques and reducing stress in the natural healing process.

Chakras work unaided to maintain our body although we cannot touch or see our chakras.

The human body has to be healthy and fed properly in order for us to have balanced chakras. There are foods that help maintain the balance of each of the seven primary chakras.

The base chakra needs food that is rich in protein, spices and root type vegetables. Nuts, vanilla, cinnamon, sweet fruits and seeds such as caraway and sesame work best in case of the sacral chakra that of our sexual being and creativity. Our stomach or solar plexus chakra on the other hand requires breads, cereals, pasta, yogurt, dairy products and spicy mints for nourishment.

Go with green leafy veggies for your heart chakra and plenty of liquids for your throat chakra. You can go with fruit juices and tangy fruits as well.

Your 3rd eye chakra thrives on grapes, wine and blueberries.

If you want to work on your crown chakra then you will need to do some detoxifying. This is done through fasting or by using some inhalations techniques with herbs.

Thus, it can be seen that our health and wellbeing is influenced or stimulated with the aid of chakras. Doing this inspires our soul to be more responsive so as to match its frequency with that of the infinite cosmos.
