                                     The Importance of Chakra Balance

It is an old saying, but a true one that everything is more functional when it is properly balanced - a lack or an excess of any one element makes for a less efficient system. This is very true and applies to ourselves as well. Our chakras must also be balanced in order to be effective and preserve our health. You need to understand that besides a physical body, we also possess a soul; which while not visible is no less a part of us than our bodies are.

It is only when our physical and non-physical bodies are in a proper balance that we can be effective in our actions. Survival itself necessitates paying attention to both body and soul. Our bodies need food and water - and our souls rely on the chakras in our bodies for their health - meaning that chakra balance is as important as the very air we breathe.

Cleansing of the chakras is important before balancing them; however, after the chakras are free of negative factors and positive energy has replaced the negative, the process is complete. An important role is played by heavenly bodies when such an exchange of energies like this takes place.

Making sure that each chakra is in balance with the others is the way to ensure chakra balance. An overall chakra balance fosters and is indicative of good physical, mental and spiritual health.

It is imperative that all chakras maintain balance, since each chakra influences one of the internal organs of the body. When a chakra center is unbalanced, it can lead to the breaking down of the organ related to that chakra, which may become fatal if ignored in its negative state.

Your chakras require an adequate fluid intake to remain balanced. Drinking plenty of liquids will assist in keeping a proper chakra balance.

The colors in our environment are also very important - each chakra is associated with a particular color and you can bring about chakra balance through introducing a given color to your environment which corresponds to the chakra which is in an imbalanced state.

Getting an appropriate amount of sleep gives us the bodily energy we need to go about the activities of our daily lives. For the soul, meditation performs a similar function.

Meditation puts our souls into a relaxed state and awakens out will power and inner resources. To achieve proper chakra balance, our souls need to be in a relaxed state - and this can be brought about via meditation.

Sleep can act as a kind of meditation - we lose awareness of our physical selves while we sleep, letting our souls absorb positive energies. The rest which sleep gives us can therefore be of benefit to our physical and non-physical bodies alike.

Chakra balance can be maintained by exercise; proper maintenance of the body leads to your chakras remaining balanced. Exercise should be incorporated into your daily routine to help chakra balance stay in order. The exercises necessary don't take a lot of time but do need to be done on a daily basis.

Several chakras are influenced by the consumption of various foods, therefore vitally to change any unhealthy eating habits, to bring about balance of that chakra, rather than the disruption of that chakra. It is in your best interest to pay adequate attention to your diet and the foods you consume, since various illnesses are brought on by the type of food intake our bodies endure.

Your chakra balance will determine how much work you will be able to do at any time so strive to keep the chakra balance proper and get best results at work.
