Understanding the Root Chakra Part 5
Sarah Taylor
Root Chakra Meditation:
Concentrate on your root chakra, the base of your tailbone. Feel its association to the earth. See in your mind's eye a sparkling red light in front of you. The red color should be of that of rubies or of cherries. Take three intense yogic breaths, breathing in this fundamental red energy. With every breath in, experience the life-giving red light fill up your body and midpoint on your root chakra. Feel your root chakra, the foundation of your tailbone; rejuvenate with this indispensable red light. Feel the light rub your root chakra, gently initiating the kundalini. After your third yogic breath come back to your usual and comfortable inhalation pattern. Carry on breathing in this very important red light.
Once your root chakra has been overflowing, feel the red light multiply from your tailbone to your hips, legs, and feet. Become aware of how your legs and feet and hips feel warmer now – keyed up with this of the essence red light. Through the recitation of the root chakra, you will become skilled at saying yes to life and realize the starting place of life energy.
