Understanding the Sacral Chakra
by Sarah Taylor The body consists of seven chakras, each of which must be in harmony with one another for the body to function properly. There are those that are interested in understanding how these chakras operate and how they can be in conjunction with one another. An important chakra in the body is the sacral chakra. The sacral chakra is the second chakra, and is located directly below the naval area. This chakra is represented by the vibrant color orange, and is representative of emotions. As a spiritual manifestation grows through a chakra session, the sacral chakra will become more in tune, as the spiritual essence of this chakra ignites creativity. It is also important to let go of feelings of self loathing and worry over other relationships with others. The sacral chakra is large portion of this equation, as it can help the body feel more in tune when these elements are not present. Feelings of pain, guilt, worry, as well as physical pain in the lower abdomen or lower libido are signs that the sacral chakra is in need of healing and assistance. Through daily chakra meditation, this chakra can rid the body of this negative energy and allow the flow of positive energy and manifestations to conjure once more.
